The rules for using JSF Labs, written to be read — not to be skimmed past. Creating an account means you accept them.
Last updated 23 July 2026Applies to jsflabs.io, the dashboard and the API
Agreeing at sign-up
Creating an account means you have read and accepted these terms in full.
Credits last 30 days
Every credit expires 30 days after it is added — used or unused. Extensions need support approval.
7-day refund window
Request within 7 days of payment. Approved refunds are processed within a further 7 days.
Consent is on you
You must own or have documented permission for every voice you clone. No exceptions.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and JSF Labs (Private Limited) governing your use of jsflabs.io, our dashboard, our API and every related service.
When you register an account you are required to tick the box confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Services Policy. Registration cannot be completed without that confirmation. Continuing to use the platform after registration reaffirms your acceptance.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not create an account and do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 to hold an account, and under-18s must have a parent or guardian's involvement.
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.
One person or organisation per account. Sharing login credentials across unrelated users is not permitted.
If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
3. Account data, sessions and security
Your account holds your email address, a securely hashed password, your plan and credit balance, your voices, projects and generated audio, and your billing history. How we handle all of it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
To keep your account secure and functioning we also maintain session and device records:
Active login sessions, including approximate location, device type, browser and last-used time.
IP addresses and access logs, retained for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.
API key usage records where you use the API.
You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You can end any active session from your dashboard, and you should do so immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may end sessions or require re-authentication where we detect suspicious activity, credential sharing, or a security risk to you or the platform.
4. Plans, pricing and billing
Plans are billed in advance for the period you select. Prices are shown in PKR, with a USD equivalent displayed for convenience at an indicative exchange rate; the PKR amount is the amount charged.
JSF Labs may change pricing, plan structures, included allowances and promotional rates at any time. Changes to a plan you are already subscribed to take effect from your next billing cycle, and we will notify you by email before that cycle begins so you can decide whether to continue, change plan or cancel. New prices apply immediately to new purchases, upgrades and one-off top-ups.
Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next cycle. Failed payments may result in the account being paused until payment succeeds.
5. Credits and 30-day expiry
Character credits are the unit of usage on JSF Labs. Every credit added to your account — whether from a plan allocation, a top-up purchase, a promotion or a goodwill adjustment — is valid for 30 days from the date it is credited.
Credits expire 30 days after they are added, whether you have used them or not. Unused credits are not carried forward, refunded, transferred or converted to cash.
Credits are consumed oldest-first, so the batch closest to expiry is always used before newer credits.
Your dashboard shows the expiry date of each credit batch, and we send a reminder before a batch is due to lapse.
Expired credits cannot be automatically reinstated.
Need more time? Extensions are possible but are not automatic. Contact the support team at support@jsflabs.io before or shortly after expiry, explain your situation, and if the team agrees they may extend the expiry date at their discretion. An extension granted once does not create an entitlement to future extensions.
Plan your top-ups around your realistic monthly usage. If you are unsure what that looks like, ask support and we will help you size it correctly.
6. How usage is measured
Usage is counted in characters. Every letter, number, space and punctuation mark counts as one character. Certain higher-quality or specialised models may consume characters at a higher multiplier, which is shown before you generate.
JSF Labs may change how credits are calculated, consumed, allocated or metered at any time — including multipliers, rate limits, fair-use thresholds and per-request caps — where necessary to reflect changes in our models, infrastructure costs or to protect platform stability. We will publish material changes in advance and, where they affect an active subscription, notify you by email.
Automated abuse, scripted bulk generation designed to circumvent limits, or resale of raw platform capacity without a written agreement may result in throttling, credit adjustment or suspension.
7. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied, and we would rather fix a problem than keep money you feel you should not have paid.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date. Requests made after that window are not eligible.
Send requests to payments@jsflabs.io from your registered email address, including the transaction reference and the reason.
Approved refunds are processed within a further 7 days, returned to the original payment method. Your bank or provider may take additional time to post the funds.
Where a refund is issued, any credits from that purchase are removed from your account, and any content generated using them may be revoked.
Refunds may be declined where the purchase is outside the 7-day window, where a substantial portion of the credits has already been consumed, where the account is being terminated for a breach of these terms, or where the request appears to be part of a pattern of abuse. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Voice cloning and your responsibility
Voice cloning carries real-world consequences, and the responsibility for lawful use rests entirely with you. Each time you upload a sample or create a clone you represent and warrant that:
The voice is your own, or you hold the explicit, informed and documented consent of the person it belongs to.
You have the legal right to use that voice for your intended purpose, including any commercial use, and to grant us the limited processing rights needed to generate audio for you.
You are not cloning a public figure, celebrity, or any individual who has not agreed to it.
You will not use a cloned voice to impersonate anyone, commit fraud, deceive listeners about who is speaking, defeat voice authentication, harass, defame, or produce unlawful content.
JSF Labs supplies the technology. We do not and cannot verify the identity behind every sample or confirm consent on your behalf. You are solely liable for any claim, loss or legal action arising from a voice you clone or audio you generate. Where we receive a credible report that a voice was cloned without permission, we may remove the voice, suspend the account and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use JSF Labs to create, distribute or facilitate:
Impersonation, fraud, scam calls, or any attempt to deceive a person about who is speaking.
Content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination.
Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
Election disinformation, fabricated statements attributed to real people, or synthetic evidence.
Attempts to bypass voice authentication, security controls, rate limits or usage metering.
Reverse engineering, scraping, model extraction, or reselling raw platform output as a competing synthesis service.
This list is not exhaustive. We interpret it in the spirit it is written: do not use synthetic voice to harm people.
10. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the scripts you write, the samples you lawfully upload, and the audio generated for you. On a paid plan that audio may be used commercially, subject to these terms and the consent requirements above.
You grant JSF Labs a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transmit your content strictly for the purpose of operating the service for you — generating audio, storing your library, and providing support you request. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. We do not use your content to train or improve our models, and we do not share, publish or sell it.
The platform itself — our models, software, interfaces, default voice library, branding and documentation — remains the property of JSF Labs. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of it to you.
11. Service availability, changes and data removal
We work hard to keep JSF Labs fast and available, and we publish live status information. That said, the service is provided on an as-available basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control.
JSF Labs may add, modify, restrict or discontinue features, models, voices or entire products at any time. Where a change materially reduces what an active subscription includes, we will give notice by email or in-product.
We reserve the right to remove or delete content and account data at any time — including where an account is closed or dormant, where content breaches these terms or the law, where retention limits are reached, or where it is operationally necessary. Wherever it is reasonable and safe to do so we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to export your work. Where a serious breach or legal obligation is involved, removal may be immediate.
Keep your own copies of anything important. JSF Labs is a generation platform, not a backup or archival service.
12. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by writing to support. Closing an account ends future billing; it does not automatically refund amounts already paid or reinstate expired credits.
JSF Labs may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe there has been cloning without consent, fraud or impersonation, unlawful use, payment or chargeback abuse, circumvention of usage limits, or activity that threatens the security, stability or reputation of the platform or its users.
Where it is reasonable and safe, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. In urgent cases — especially those involving harm to another person — we may act immediately. Where an account is terminated for a breach, unused credits are forfeited and no refund is due.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. AI output is probabilistic: we do not warrant that generated audio will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose, and you should review output before publishing it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JSF Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to JSF Labs in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JSF Labs, its directors, employees and partners from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, any voice you clone, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@jsflabs.io. Most disputes are resolved quickly once a person on our side understands the problem, and we would always rather resolve something directly than litigate it.
16. Changes to these terms
JSF Labs may update these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect changes to our products, pricing, infrastructure or legal obligations. The revision date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
For material changes we will give notice by email or in-product before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and close your account.
17. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in force.
Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not assign these terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Services Policy, form the entire agreement between us.
